Our founders - Nick and Logan - began flying in their teenage years and turned this passion into a career. Both have flown for large commercial airlines and private charter companies.
In 2018, they noticed a gap in the market for airplane brokers. They believed buying and selling aircraft shouldn't be complicated and should be an enjoyable experience for pilots of all levels. They opened Stable Approach Aviation to assist pilots not only identify what they were looking for but find their ideal aircraft. They expanded their services to consulting in 2020 and have been helping customers nation-wide.
Nick's passion for aviation began in childhood and led to his first solo flight at 16. By high school graduation, he had earned his private, instrument, and commercial single-engine ratings. At Auburn University, he majored in Aviation Management and accumulated extensive hours as a flight instructor. Post-graduation, Nick advanced in corporate aviation, gaining experience in over 50 different aircraft, including piston aircraft and light to midsized business jets. He's held roles as Director of Sales and Aircraft Management, helping companies manage and acquire aircraft, start flight schools, and obtain 135 charter certificates. Now a pilot for a major U.S. airline on the Airbus 319/320/321, Nick continues to enjoy general aviation and assists with aircraft transactions through Stable Approach Aviation.
Logan Wolf has been involved in aviation since as early as he can remember. In High School he achieved his Private, Instrument, and Commercial Pilot Certificates. While still in college at the University of Alabama, he began a diverse and successful career as a corporate pilot. Logan flew many different general aviation aircraft, ranging from piston singles to private jets. He was instrumental in the formation of several successful corporate flight departments and helped companies acquire the right aircraft for their mission. This success propelled him to the role of Vice President of a startup aviation company. In this role he successfully led a team to achieve Charter Airline Certification from the FAA. During this time, he oversaw aircraft acquisition, management, charter operations and a flight school. He moved on from this position to fly large aircraft all over the world for a legacy airline. He currently serves as an airline captain and still actively flies general aviation.
